unconventionalist business management (pre-launch version)

Okay, so I’m not supposed to be here yet (the site is being designed and I’ve got a lot of content to write), but people have been asking what this unconventionalist thing is all about, so this will give you some idea.
I expect to have the full site up by the end of September. If you want to keep in touch, register your details just over there on the right.

I’m talking to the unconventional thinkers, the inspired dreamers, the fighters for truth and social justice, the passionate keepers of ideals and brave visions. I’m talking to You who rejected conventional ways and created a business that you believe in. I’m so happy that you have.

What you do is important. For you, your family, your community, your planet. You are changing the world.

But some stuff just has to get done.

You have the same management issues as any business – working with other people, troubleshooting, delegating, keeping up with legal & financial obligations, troubleshooting, planning, remembering to have a life outside your business, troubleshooting. And them some.

Traditional business solutions aren’t going to work for you.

You aren’t going to do things just because ‘that’s the way they’ve always been done’. You challenge established business processes that don’t fit with your beliefs. You’ve seen the soul-destroying effects of traditional work practices. You’ve seen the purveyors of ‘business improvement systems’ and the snake oil salesmen who diagnose and treat your business ills. This is not your way. The last thing you want is a man in a suit coming in to tell you that you need to ‘collaboratively expand and grow high-quality knowledge systems whilst continuing to lead the industry in progressive meta-services’.
You know there has to be a better way – a way to run a successful business that fits with your way of thinking. Something that values people. Something that values this planet. Something that works, so that your business thrives and you get to live the life you have chosen.

Don’t lose sight of your dreams because of all the stuff that gets in the way.

I can help you manage your business in a way that fits your values and your life.   Let’s talk.

Wow, I can leave a comment before the site even goes live! I feel like I’m sneaking into the building the day before the grand opening. (:

I want to buy food grown without chemicals too, (from your About page). Reducing or eliminating factory-farming would be nice too. Great site!
